UPDATE: VEX Robotics Teams Headed to World Competition

Tech, Apollo, North and South Robotics are headed to State!UPDATE: 
South:
Congratulations to South Robotics teams that competed at the Minnesota State VEX Robotics Competition! Tiger Kappa team made it to the finals and Tiger Epsilon team made it to semi-finals.  Both teams are from South and qualify to compete at the VEX World Competition in Dallas, Texas at the end of April.
 
Tech:
Shouting out the three Tech Robotics teams that competed in the State Robotics Tournament this weekend which included the top 70 of 500 teams in the state. Two of three Tech teams qualified for elimination rounds, and one team received the 2nd highest award in the State, qualifying them for Worlds in Dallas, Texas at the end of April. Two individual scholarship winners were highlighted on stage. Tech's top team earned a State record of 24 awards in one season (17 was past record by Mankato) and the season is not over yet! These teams have been designing and building for the current season since last May and have worked  hard to get to this moment.  We will be traveling to Council Bluffs, Iowa for the US Open at the end of March and then Dallas, Texas in April for Nationals. Congratulations!

Apollo:
The Platipy team made it to the elimination round and won the energy award. They will compete at Nationals at the end of the month.
 
Tech, Apollo, North and South Robotics are headed to State! Three Tech teams, three Apollo teams, five North teams and four teams from South will compete at the Rivers Edge Convention Center on March 2 and 3.Congratulations!
