In cooperation with area school districts, and in accordance with MDE and MDH guidelines, we are adjusting our quarantine periods. Beginning Monday, May 3, students who are exposed to a positive COVID-19 case on the bus, at school, or during activities will require a 10-day quarantine period provided the following are true:
The student does NOT have symptoms of COVID-19 during the quarantine period.
The student does NOT live with someone who has COVID-19 or COVID symptoms.
Alternatively, upon parent/guardian request to the school health office, a student may quarantine for 7 days with a PCR/molecular-negative test (not an antigen test or antibody/blood test) if the test occurred on day five or later after exposure and further criteria are met.
