Five Teams Walk Away as FPS State Champions
Twenty-two teams from North, Apollo, South and Kennedy competed at the 2018 Future Problem Solvers (FPS) State Tournament March 24, 2018. Moving on to the FPS International Competition in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in June will be The Bull-Dozers, Can you hEAR me? and D.R.E.A.M in the CmPS (Community Problem Solvers) division, Paige Christiansen for the GIPS (Global Issues Problem Solvers) division, and Lain Burris and Sadie Bartels in Scenario.
State Champions:
- Senior CmPS team - The Bull-Dozers: Gabby Hermanson, Sadie Bartels and Daniel Yuan (Apollo)
- Senior CmPS Individual - Can you hEAR Me?: Jocelyn Filiyaro ( Apollo)
- Middle CmPS Individual - Home Sweet Home: Paige Christiansen (Apollo)
- Middle CmPS team - D.R.E.A.M.: Grace Fischer (Apollo), Laina Burris, Nicole Warzecha and Bren Olson (North)
- Junior CmPS team - Grief Re-leaf: Kiara Wang and Luella Nelson (North)
