District 742 Art Show Opening Reception

Artwork by students kindergarten through grade 12 showcased their artwork
at the Great River Regional Library. The event was kicked off with a social
welcoming community members, students and families to view the artwork.
The first of what hopes to be annual art shows was put together by Tech
tenth-grader, Kaya Inkster and special education physical, health and
disabilities teacher Denise Weekley.
Morgan Bissett, a sixth-grader at Kennedy, exclaimed, "It was fun!"
Students in attendance were excited to show-off their art pieces. The
artwork will be on display for the rest of the month at the Library. Stop by and
