Honoring Our Support Staff
An event honoring those who work as bus drivers, custodians, cooks,
paraprofessionals, nurses and the many other jobs that keep schools running
smoothly was held on Sept. 28 at the River’s Edge Convention Center. The event
is coordinated and sponsored by Resource Training &
Solutions, a regional service agency serving school districts in Central
Minnesota.
“If there ever was a Grand Central Station in a school, it has to be the front office. The support staff in every school is the glue that holds the whole place together,” said Mark Schmitz, executive director of Resource Training & Solutions.
Honorees selected for the award have demonstrated that they go above and beyond required duties, act as positive role models and make a difference every day in the lives of students, staff and the community.
Congratulations to the six District 742 support staff honored at this year's event. Thank you for all you do!
