Weather permitting, there will be a senior Class of 2019 photo opportunity for the entire class on TODAY at 1:30 immediately before Activity Day begins. Please report to Clark Field at that time and be seated in the fan section. Your class will be the last class to sit for a photo in the fan section of Clark Field before we leave. Wear orange, black, or Tiger motto clothing to show your Tech spirit. This applies to SENIORS only. Let's hope for nice weather, Tigers! See you there!
All Fall Athletes: Stop in the Activities Office for summer information.
Students, the lawn will now be open for you to use during your lunch period. While using this space, please show PRIDE, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY.
PRIDE: Keep the area clean by eating your lunch in the cafeteria and throwing trays away before going outside.
RESPECT: Allow everyone to enjoy the space by keeping it safe and free of thrown objects.
RESPONSIBILITY: Exit through the cafeteria doors. Stay visible to staff members by staying off of the stairs & hill and between doors 2 and 4.
SENIORS: The winner for our 3rd drawing is Monika Lofflerova. She won $50. There is still time to sign up for the All-Night Party. There will be 10 $50.00 cash prizes as well as many other big prizes-TV, Kuerigs, headphones etc. EVERY party goer will leave with at least one gift.
Students fasting in observation of Ramadan are expected to be in the LRC or the Lunch Room during their scheduled lunch time. Students are expected to stay in these locations during lunch time.
Dreamline Homework Help is Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the LRC. Open to all students, grades 9-12!
St. Cloud Tech/Apollo finished tied for 9th in the 20 team Preserve invitational in Pequot Lakes with a team score of 319. Tech was led by a 77 from Leo Stepan which placed him 17th individually. Also for the Tigers Will Anderson had a 79 (22nd), Paul Truitt 81, Mason Sunder 82, August Falloon 85 and Soren Falloon rounded out the scoring with a 93.
The Tigers gave another A+ effort in a split double header on Thursday. Losing a pitcher’s duel 2-1 to Brainerd. Peyton Bigaoutte pitched a fine ball game allowing just 2 runs in 6 innings. In the night cap, the Tigers fell to a very strong Elk River squad 3-2! Trailing 3-0 into the bottom of the 7th the Tigers strung together 3 consecutive singles to load the bases, including hits by Andrew Schmitt, Connor Doucette and Nate Trewick to load the bases with 2 outs! Senior Nick Proshek came through with a big 2 run double to make game 3-2 on Senior Night! However, the Tigers were unable to do any more damage and came up just short of pulling an upset! Tigers will next be in action Wednesday May 29th against an opponent to be determined as the Tigers open up sectional play!
Boys Lacrosse laid the smackdown on Big Lake last night, beating them 18-5. Twelve different St. Cloud players scored. Tigers finished the season winning 5 out of their last 6 games. This is great momentum going into the playoffs on Tuesday vs Monticello at 7 p.m.
