Tech High School Announcements for Friday, Dec. 7, 2018

Starting Jan. 7, we will be checking student ID's in the LRC. Be prepared to show your student ID if you have business in the LRC. If you need a new ID, they are available on Tuesdays between 9:25 and 10:40 a.m. at a cost of $5.00.

Taco Salads will now be served on Wednesdays.

Juniors and Seniors: Undecided or confused on what you should do after high school? The Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be given on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 8:30 a.m. This test will give you information on academic ability, interests, and values in regards to careers. Juniors and seniors that signed up to take the test will receive a pass on Wednesday, Dec. 12 for more information. If you want to take the test and did not sign up, please see Linda in the guidance office.

The GSA Meeting will be in room 202 on Thursdays after school – any questions see Ms. Fuller.

Dreamline Homework Help is Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the LRC. Open to all students, grades 9-12! 

Check the bulletin board outside of the Student Center for upcoming meeting dates.

Alumni swim meet at Tech High School

Who: Anyone attached to the Tech swim/dive team present or past or students from Tech.

What: Swim/dive meet where participants can swim up to 3 events which includes: 50, 100, IM Relay and Diving

Where: Tech High School Pool

When: Dec. 21, 4:30 p.m. registration / 5 p.m. warm up / 6 p.m. swim meet

Registration must be completed online by Dec. 14 at

Why: As our last year in the Tech Pool we want to provide a setting where swimmers/divers can come together and compete one last time in the old pool before we move to the new building.

What's included: Giveaways and dinner

Cost: $20 for swimmer, $10 for spectators, Free children 0-5


  • The Boys Hockey team tied 3-3 in overtime with Buffalo.
  • The Girls Hockey team fell to Fergus Falls.
  • Great crowd at the Boys Basketball game but the Tigers fell to the Eagles.
  • The Wrestling team competed at Willmar.
  • At the Sartell Nordic Ski Meet: Wren Scott-Lumbar placed 3rd, Tennessee Scott-Lumbar placed 6th.
