PSAT Test will Be Administered to 10th Grade Students

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On October 16 from 8:30-12:30, 10th graders will participate in the PSAT exam.  The PSAT is an exam used to prepare students for the SAT and the National Merit Scholarship.  It is their first opportunity to take a college readiness exam. For more information regarding the exam and practice materials, please visit this website.

Students in 10th and 11th grade can take the new PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 10 to measure readiness for college, access scholarships, and practice for the SAT.

On October 16th, 10th grade students should come prepared to take the exam. They should get a good night’s rest and eat a healthy breakfast.  If they bring a backpack and phone, they will need to be placed in their lockers until the exam is completed. They can bring a pencil and calculator into the exam (calculator will only be allowed on a specific section of the exam).  Calculators WILL NOT be provided.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brenda Tiber, Assistant Principal at Apollo High School.
