  • High School Design Committee

Updated Schematic Image - Apollo High School Plan The High School Design Committee is a representative group (10 from Apollo and 10 from Tech) with responsibility to the whole project, not just one specific area. The role of the High School Design Committee is to provide direction that will ensure the success of both projects. They will review information coming out of the programming sub-groups to ensure equity and to identify issues that may need further input from the Steering Committee. They will weigh in on design direction as it relates to teaching and learning, the social health of students, and the needs of all adults. They will identify opportunities for innovation and collaboration both within the schools and in the greater community. Members of this committee are asked to think “big picture” and should be able to address issues outside of their personal realm. They are asked to be advocates and communicators for the project and to other staff members and the community. Participants include principals, faculty, staff, students, parents and community members.
