Hey there!

I'm Ms. Schumacher and welcome to my home page! I teach 6-8 grade Advanced Language Arts and 6-8 grade C4 at South Junior High. You can find out more about each class by clicking the "ALA" or "C4" tabs.

I am from Washington state and began teaching at First Creek Middle School in 2014. I moved to Saint Cloud the following year and started working in District 742 first as a long term substitute at Kennedy Community School and Apollo High School. I finished the 2017-2018 school year as the 6th and 7th grade Language Arts teacher at Kennedy Community School and I've been teaching at South since then! This will be my fourth year at South and I can't wait to take this year head on. Aside from teaching, I enjoy being creative, whether that be DIY projects at home, designing invitations and wedding details, or creating custom illustrations on Etsy (Colorfully Courtney Illustrations if you're interested!). I have two dogs Gunner (black lab) and Ace (Shepherd/Malinois mix) with my fiance/soon-to-be husband! I may be Mrs. Gerads by the time you read this :)
