Charlie Eisenreich, Principal
Charlie Eisenreich begins his 30th year in education and is beginning his third year as Principal of Tech High School. A lifelong resident of St. Cloud, Mr. Eisenreich is a former Academic All-American and Professional Baseball Player. He was a classroom teacher and coach for 10 years, and has a strong desire to provide Tech students with opportunities for success both in and out of the classroom. Mr. Eisenreich has been a lead trainer for nine years for Minnesota's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative. He understands the value of promoting student behavioral expectations school-wide and the positive impact it has on student achievement.
Mr. Eisenreich is passionate in following the academic and athletic endeavors of his two children and enjoys peaceful summer days and nights at the family's lake home.
Alicia Fischer, Assistant Principal
Alicia Fischer is in her fourth year with District 742 serving as Assistant Principal at Tech High School. Prior to her role in St. Cloud, Ms. Fischer was a Teacher and Instructional Coach in the Osseo Area Schools for fourteen years. Ms. Fischer is passionate about student and staff success and believes that effective leaders develop trusting relationships to create a culture for learning. She appreciates the strong tradition at Technical High School and the diversity that is represented on the campus each day.
Ms. Fischer's career portfolio reflects expertise in strategic leadership, instruction and learning leadership, communication and educational equity. It is at the intersection of this work that Ms. Fischer demonstrates her ability to successfully bridge research into practice and facilitate collaboration to support students, staff and the community.
Steven Flucas, Assistant Principal
Steven Flucas is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, but was raised in a military family, which means he has lived in many states and a few foreign countries growing up. Flucas graduated from high school in 1984 near Scott Air Force Base, Illinois and then went on to compete on the wrestling team at Southern Illinois University, in Edwardsville. In 1991, he graduated from S.I.U. with a bachelor's degree in Geography with a minor in Education. After completing an incredibly exciting and successful international career in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling, his college team at Southern Illinois University was named to the Illinois Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Flucas married his lovely wife Heike Flucas, in 1995. They are the parents of three beautiful children: Gabreille, Sophie, and Alexander Flucas. In 2000, he completed his master’s degree in Social Work with honors and was named as an outstanding graduate from the University of Illinois-School of Social Work in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
His career in public education started in 1997 as a substitute teacher in Normal, Illinois. However, he completed his master's degree, he went on to become a School Social Work Intern at Washburn High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was hired by the Minneapolis Public Schools after graduation as a School Social Worker and was assigned to multiple Federal Setting IV EBD sites.
In 2006, he left the Minneapolis Public Schools to pursue his clinical social work license and a principal’s license at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis. For the last nine years, he served as an Assistant Principal and Principal in both elementary and middle level schools in the twin cities metro area.
In conclusion, he’d like to say that he is extremely excited to be a member of the administrative team at St. Cloud Technical High School. He is also looking forward to his first year as a “Tech Tiger!”
Tina Lahr, Assistant Principal
Ms. Lahr is Assistant Principal at Tech High School this year. She has worked in the district for over 25 years as both teacher and administrator, having served at Kennedy and Oak Hill Community Schools as well as Tech and Apollo High Schools.
Ms. Lahr was born and raised in the St. Cloud area and has an immense amount of pride and respect for the community. She looks forward to building a partnership with you to ensure your child learns and grows.
Little known fact about Ms. Lahr: She has a great love of nature and animals, belonging to several organizations that support this, such as, the Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, World Wildlife, National Wildlife, National Parks and Recreation, Arbor Day Foundation, and Humane Society, amongst others.
