I have always wanted to teach-I have never seen myself doing anything else.  I am married with two boys.  They are grown but will always be 'my boys'.  My husband was active duty air force so we were given the great opportunity of meeting diverse places and people.  A few years after he retired we came MN and love it here.  We camp a lot during the summer in Brainard while 'my boys' and my husband go snowmobiling during the winter in northern MN. I am a huge dog lover so where I go so my dog usually travels with me. I began by teaching music for about 6 years and have been teaching elementary since 2015.  My goal is to great an atmosphere of community in the classroom where everyone can be their unique selves without judgement-just compassion and love.
